Chilled, heartbroken, confused, and unexplainable feelings of sadness are all emotions many of us are experiencing today. Chester Bennington, the lead singer of Linkin Park, has committed suicide by hanging himself. He was only 41.
Growing up, Linkin Park was a very influential part of my life. Meteora was one of the first CD's I ever purchased, and I listened to it non-stop for months, as I still listen to it today. Hearing something so original and unique really encouraged me to check out their entire catalogue. With brilliant lyrics, a nu-metal vibe, and extremely powerful vocals made Chester one of the best alternative rock vocalists of my generation.
Chester's influence on the music world will continue to grow and his legacy will definitely live on forever. Fly high and rest in peace to a man who changed the game for everyone 🤘🎼🎧❤️❤️
