I have been talking with Stephen and Rose forever about doing some paint for me. Everything they do, they do with the most care and attention to detail I have ever seen. Its impressive and inspiring to watch them work, and now I get to wear it on my bike forever. We started with a tank that turned out to be garbage, but I didnt want to run a repop tank so I found another hummer tank in my stash and stephen put up with my requests to use it even though he had to do way more fab, filler, blocking, etc to get a good outcome. Basically all I said that I wanted was no candies and some classic enamel colors, with a bit of hand pin striping by Rose. They had the rest of the creative freedom. To say Im pumped is an understatement. Classic, timeless, and just really cool I am so pumped on this bike. It really has fought me tooth and nail over the past couple of years. 2 motors. 3 transmissions. 3 front ends. Seats, pipes, bars, brakes not working, exhaust leaks, oil leaks, wheel issues, you name it, this thing has thrown the shit at me. We persevere! I'm stoked to go ride it this weekend. Thanks for reading! Special thanks to: @stephenknight + @spooky_orbison - paint/ clutch pedal/ mid pegs/ fab work in general @daveycooperwasser - wheel work/ air snoot @skrimpdawgy - front end @river.seat.company - seat @dallas.gent - pipes chris my motor man @jennagiusto for puttin up with my ass #panhead

“Ooh, Olivia does remixes now,” says Chappell with a touch of cheeky sarcasm at the start of O Rod’s reimagined “expectations” single. And while listeners have to wait a while to see or hear from Chappell again, boy is it worth it. The second half of this remix is supercharged, packing an even bigger punch than it’s original thanks to Roan’s very own verse and her continued presence throughout the rest of the track as she takes over on a chorus and seamlessly melds her own powerhouse vocals with Rodrigo’s. The two match each other well in presence and prowess, making for an exceptionally fun remix that will surely be a standout moment if and when it gets a live debut. Is "expectations” among your favorite new music releases of the week? Vote in Billboard's new music poll at the link in bio.
