10 DESIGNERS FROM JAPAN & KOREA WHO CHANGED THE WAY WE THINK. What if design wasn’t just about creating something beautiful, but about questioning everything we already know? From Issey Miyake’s experiments with fabric and movement to Rei Kawakubo’s rejection of conventional beauty, from Tadao Ando’s architecture of silence to Ahn Sang-soo’s revolutionary approach to typography—Japan and South Korea have given the world designers who dared to think differently. Their work challenges our understanding of form, function, culture, identity and technology. A chair becomes an expression of craftsmanship. A garment questions the human body. A building turns emptiness into an experience. Even typography becomes a cultural revolution. Through this 10-part visual series, Desizn Circle International explores the extraordinary minds whose ideas continue to influence generations of designers. Because great designers don’t simply create new objects. They create new ways of seeing the world.
