Last sunrise of October 🫶🏻 My account might look like rainbows and sunrises, but let’s keep it real… October has been a tough one. I was supposed to be away every weekend in October. In reality, I’ve only managed one trip. I even had flights booked and airport parking paid for, but I just couldn’t make it. I didn’t make my own birthday meal. And that’s the reality sometimes. You can have all the plans in the world, but life and your mental health don’t always let you follow through. Social media might show the beautiful sunrises, the rainbows and the smiles, but behind those pictures there’s a real person having real struggles. And that’s okay. Not every month is going to be full of adventures, achievements and ticking things off the list. So here’s to the last sunrise of October, a cold dip, a fresh perspective and remembering that even after the toughest months, the sun still rises.
bkk night :p
Last weekend we celebrated our son Teddy’s bar mitzvah at home, surrounded by family and a few of his closest friends. A meaningful service, everyone gathered around one table, and a home full of love made it such a special day for our family. Thinking through the details was so much fun, and I’m continually amazed by the creativity of @hbeventsco and their gift for making every celebration feel so personal and special. event planner: @hbeventsco photography: @alexandragibbs__photo catering: @jennifernaylor florals: @josephfree paper goods: @andie.g.studio tabletop: @casadeperrin bud vases: @roaniris.co
