#anythingbutgames Rumors of my demise were rampant so I had to come back strong. A lot of chatter about whether Nintendo World Championships should be considered the grail or not. I don’t know if an esport competition back in the 90s has any relevance in the future, just like how Honus Wagner or Mickey Mantle haven’t been relevant for decades outside of expensive card prices. Either way, I remember not being able to afford this NWC Gold back in early 2000s when it was 10k. Safe to say that I paid a lot more for this, 350k to be exact. I was that private buy a few years ago.
No limits on what they can achieve 🏆 Veronica Burton reflects on believing in herself and her teammates, and how hard work made a WNBA Championship possible. #WNBASeason30 | #2026WNBAFinals
White Storks 🌍 One year of migration between Europe and Africa White storks soar on rising warm air and avoid the open sea, so they fly round the Mediterranean: the western storks over the Strait of Gibraltar, the eastern ones over the Bosporus, through the Levant and down the Nile valley. In late August they leave Europe. In October the eastern storks rest in Chad and Sudan, and from December many move on through East Africa as far as Botswana and South Africa. Many western storks now spend the winter in Spain instead of Africa. In March and April they return along the Nile and over the Bosporus to Poland, the Baltic states, Belarus and Ukraine, where most of them breed. #whitestork #stork #birdmigration #migration #europe #africa #map 📊 Data Sources: • Bird reports: EOD – eBird Observation Dataset, Cornell Lab of Ornithology (CC BY 4.0), via GBIF.org: GBIF Occurrence Download DOI 10.15468/dl.qzwcas (1 November 2026) and counts of all bird reports from the GBIF occurrence API.
