❀༉ 𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘦 & 𝘑𝘪𝘮 • 𝘑𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘯, 1986 🇯🇵 ✧In autumn 1986, Freddie visited Japan with Jim Hutton and Joe Fanelli. Jim’s recollections give us some wonderful glimpses of their holiday, exploring gardens, taking photographs, and getting ready for an evening out. ✧Misa arranged a trip by bullet train to Kyoto, where they visited the gardens of the Golden Pavilion. Jim remembered them spending hours examining the flowers and shrubs. Freddie’s favourite azaleas weren’t in bloom, but the carefully shaped trees fascinated him, and he was mesmerised by the golden carp in the koi pool. ✧Freddie enthusiastically photographed everything in sight, although mastering the camera took a little practice. According to Jim, the first few rolls they had developed were wildly out of focus. Once Freddie got the hang of it, they couldn’t stop him taking pictures by the dozen. 📷♡ ✧At the Tokyo boutique Beverly Hills, Freddie spent more than two hours choosing silk ties, including white ones costing over £75 each. Jim recalled that Freddie had never owned a tie before, then bought around a hundred! But he couldn’t knot them, so whenever he wanted to wear one, he’d call out, “Jim! Help me, will you?” ✧Getting dressed for dinner with Misa and a friend at a rooftop restaurant required more ingenuity. Freddie wanted to wear a new shirt that was badly creased, so Jim and Joe improvised with a metal hot plate used to keep snacks warm. Turning it upside down, they managed to press his shirt! “Clever bitch, aren’t you?” said Freddie. “I have my uses!” Jim replied. 🤭 ✧The holiday also included a visit to a Japanese production of Cats, with Freddie photographed alongside members of the cast, another lovely moment from their time in Japan. 📸 Photos by Koh Hasebe © Queen Productions Ltd. ⚠️ Tribute only-no copyright infringement intended. #FreddieMercury #JimHutton #Queen #FreddieInJapan #Japan1986
UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has told MPs he will push for new post-Brexit deals with the EU at a summit next month. He said "deeper cooperation" on some key issues - including youth mobility, food and drink, and energy - would help drive economic growth in the UK. But Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch said the prime minister was "unpicking" the deal the UK signed with the EU. Tap the link in @BBCNews to find out what else Burnham said about the UK's relationship with the EU. #Brexit #UKPolitics #BBCNews
You all know how I love recreating Sridevi Ji’s iconic looks and expressions in everything I do. I’ve recreated so many of her looks, but the iconic Chandni look was still on my wishlist. & now, with @rajchoco @svfsocial & @sonyaathofficial by my side, that dream has finally come true! What makes it even more special is that every team I’ve worked with has always shown so much love and respect for the woman I’ve admired, loved, and idolised for so long. They not only understand my admiration for her but also give me the freedom and support to recreate her magic in my own way. For me, it’s never just about recreating a look. It’s about celebrating the legend who continues to inspire me, over and over again. Forever inspired. Forever in awe. Forever my Sridevi Ji. 💛🙏🏻 #sridevi #sridevichandni

Watch this intelligence official say ‘i am sorry mam’ when i saw them taking my videos through the entire trip in manipur. The surveillance, whether they were intelligence or plain clothed cops was so intense that they even followed me to the washroom where i flashed a sanitary napkin jn their face to shame them. They followed me to the grocery store, to the chemist, called me from random numbers to tell me that they know my location. Why am i sharing this video ? Because when journalists complaint of surveillance, we are gaslighted, we have court cases, summons issued against us. I want them to deny the allegations so i can play the phone recordings. This week, plain clothed officials follow me from the ticketing counter to the boarding gates into delhi. Why are you scared of the truth, why are you scared of journalists I am in hospital receiving treatment and i will be back on the road soon
There’s a reason autumn in Finnish Lapland feels like a world of its own. 🍂🇫🇮 The Finns call it Ruska, the fifth season. And once you’ve experienced it, you understand why. Endless forests glowing in shades of gold, mist drifting over the swamps, soft sunlight breaking through the clouds and reindeer wandering along quiet roads as if they own the place. 🦌 Some mornings were wrapped in fog, others bathed in the warmest golden light. Every turn brought something different, and there were so many moments when I just wanted to pull over, grab my camera and stay a little longer. No rush, no crowds, just the road ahead and autumn in all its wild, beautiful glory. Finnish Lapland, you’ve got a special place in my heart. I’d drive those roads a thousand times over. 🤎🌲 #FinnishLapland #Ruska #LaplandInAutumn #NaturePhotography #Finland
