Hiiiiiii my name is Anna and I like to eat candy for the sake of eating candy 🍬 I don’t earn candy…Nor do I intentionally try to burn said candy off…. This messaging just creates toxic thinking and stress around simple joys in life. Don’t wanna eat candy or certain foods because of how it makes you feel?…cool I’m on board. If you want 5 fun sized Snickers, COOL let’s be friends 🤣 But how about we run, row, lift weights, and do burpees for the sake of MOVING our bodies, getting healthier, stronger, and because we actually ENJOY it?! Exercise is not punishment for what you ate. And food is not something you have to earn. We can nourish our bodies, enjoy the foods we love, AND train to become strong, healthy, capable women. All at the same time 👏🏼 Who feels me?!? And if you're ready to train with that same mindset, comment READY and I'll send you the link to try 3 FREE days inside my MLAM Membership! Strength training, deep core & pelvic floor work, education, and a whole lot of women cheering each other on 💪 And no…no I was not a cheerleader, obviously 😅😅😅 #halloween #motherhood #postpartumbody #postpartumfitness #fyp
Oi
OPTIONAL. Taking $1,800 out of somebody’s paycheck because they missed a work dinner on their wedding anniversary is already wild. But sending an email beforehand saying the dinner was OPTIONAL makes this whole situation even harder to understand. Because what exactly was optional? The dinner or keeping your paycheck? And the way she handled it is probably the best part of this entire story. No big argument. No begging. She simply asked payroll to show her the written policy that allowed the deduction. Apparently, nobody could find one. Now imagine being that boss sitting in a meeting with HR and the finance director while your own email is being used to explain why you had no business taking that money in the first place. That’s an uncomfortable Monday morning. But the story gets worse when HR discovers seven other employees had allegedly been treated the same way. One was even on medical leave. Another paid $600 for missing a Christmas party because she thought she had no choice. Six hundred dollars to miss a Christmas party. At that price, the party better have included a vacation package and a new refrigerator. There’s nothing wrong with companies wanting employees to participate in events. Team dinners can be great. Holiday parties can be fun. But there’s a difference between encouraging people to show up and making them feel like their paycheck depends on it. And that’s what makes this story so interesting. She didn’t need some elaborate plan to get her money back. She had her contract, her completed work, and the boss’s own words. A month later, she says she got promoted. Sometimes the most effective response isn’t an argument. It’s asking somebody to put their reasoning in writing. That boss probably wishes he’d never sent that email.
There’s something about the eyeshadow technique that has truly captured my heart. 🤍 Every PMU technique requires care and precision, but for me, eyeshadow demands a special level of patience and attention to the smallest details. And I love every moment of it. Brows will always be my first love, but eyeshadow has definitely become my second. ❤️ I’ve promised myself that next year, I’ll dedicate more time to mastering it refining my movements, creating softer transitions, and making every detail more intentional. Even when you love your results, there is always room to grow.
