๐Ÿ‘€ Is Avatar: Seven Havens setting Ulan up for a bigger role in Season 2? Fans noticed that Ulan, the young waterbender introduced in Episode 1, makes several appearances throughout the season. Heโ€™s first introduced when his mother is reluctant to let him join the Bending Brigade. Later, during the attack on the city, he tells Pavi that although heโ€™s scared, he still has the ability to help people. Interestingly, this reminds us of Kuvira, who initially appeared as a minor character in Book Three of The Legend of Korra before becoming the main antagonist of Book Four. And hereโ€™s an even funnier coincidence: Both Ulan and Kuvira have a mole near their eye! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Now, this doesnโ€™t necessarily mean Ulan will become a major character, but the similarities are pretty interesting. Could Ulan be the next Kuvira, or are fans reading too much into his screen time? ๐Ÿ‘€ #AvatarSevenHavens #LegendOfKorra #AvatarDiscussions
Tesehki is speaking out after watching the Baddies USA Chapter 3 official super-trailer, saying sheโ€™s upset over the footage showing Big Lex being jumped. In the trailer, Lex is seen in a physical altercation involving Ciroc, Lauren Michelle and Lori. Tesehki also reminded everyone that thereโ€™s always a reunion, hinting that the drama may not be over just yet. The Diamond Season is already bringing plenty of tension before the premiere!
The U.S. Justice Department announced Tuesday that it is deploying about 1,000 election monitors and observers nationwide, including to eight Michigan cities. Michigan officials have raised concerns about monitorsโ€™ conduct today in Dearborn and Flint. Detroit, Dearborn, Hamtramck, Warren, Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing and East Lansing are included. The DOJ says the Trump administrationโ€™s deployment is its largest ever and the first to cover all 50 states. Michigan officials contacted the DOJ after receiving reports that monitors went beyond their duties. In Dearborn, monitors reportedly asked poll workers for copies of their training materials. In Flint, they reportedly questioned workers about how they were trained. State officials said they were following up to explain what monitors are allowed to do. DOJ monitors generally must stay at least 100 feet from a polling placeโ€™s entrance unless the local clerk allows them inside. Once inside, they can observe but cannot speak with voters, touch ballots or voting equipment, or interfere with voting.
