MY ANGEL ✨💙 Today marks 10 years since the day I lost you 💔 The day you lost your battle to CANCER ~ God had different plans. He took you away from us way to soon. I was about 13 when my dad got sick with cancer and 15 when he lost his battle to Acute Leukemia #BloodCancer after being in remission for about a year the cancer had come back. My dad had such a strong Italian blood line that not even his own family matched him. Held 3 blood drives .. did anything and everything that we could .. yet we had nothing. It came down to a baby umbilical cord that matched his blood type.. unfortunately it was already to late 😰 I had just witnessed my dad taking his final and last breath 💔 My Dad was a fighter !! The moment that you left me, my heart was split in two. One side was filled with memories; the other side died with you. I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep; and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. Remembering you is easy, I do it everyday but missing you is a heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain; you see life has gone on without you, but will never be the same. My dad was one of a kind, goofy, kind, loving, respectful, nurturing, giving, family oriented, loved life, dare devil, smart, hilarious, one to make you laugh and put a smile on your face when you really need it, that guy who brought people together who was so giving and loving he made everyone around him feel the same. He was a huge family man and the best. My dad was everything to me and more, a daughters fathers love in unbreakable and like no other. Daddy I love and miss you so much.
