HU Staff: Kecia Gayle @kecia.kae A mother has shared a beautiful video of the day she officially adopted her baby girl, and she paired it with one of the sweetest messages you’ll read all week. ___________________________________________________ The mother, named Kayla Renee who is Black, adopted a little girl who is white and named Paisleigh. In the emotional clip, the two of them walk into the courtroom hand in hand, both dressed in white. The whole thing feels like a celebration from the first second. Their support system is right there with them, and you can hear everybody greeting baby Paisleigh and getting hyped for the moment to finally become official. ___________________________________________________ It’s easy to tell how long this family has waited for this day, and how her support system showed up to cheer them on. Kayla didn’t keep her feelings to herself, either. She penned a message to her baby girl, letting her heart out in the caption of her video post. She said, “Paisleigh Renee Summers, I’m so happy I finally get to officially be your mommy!” she began. “God knew exactly what He was doing when He brought you into my life.” Then she got to the heart of it. “We may look different on the outside, but the love that made us family is something no one could ever change. You were always meant to be my daughter, and I was always meant to be your mommy.” ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 @sincerelykr_
