It’s taken me a couple of days to come off this high (Truth be told, I keep glancing at it making sure the name hasn’t changed on it 🙈). I’ll spare you the video of me being an absolute blubbering bumbling idiot on stage, but I do have to properly say my “thank you”’s. @cswanson44 thank you for giving me this opportunity and taking a chance on me. Without your vision and brilliance, this all would not be possible. Thank you so much for being such the quintessential leader filled with drive, humility and compassion that I strive to be. @pattikgill ...what a story to tell. What healing you’re bringing to so many across the world through the power of your story 🙏 Thank you, Patti. Your undeniable talent brought such depth and grit, every time you’re on screen, everyone falls silent. @jossieharris your lightheartedness, warm, and sweet soul was not only a character, but I came to find out truly a part of who you are (I promise to call you back tomorrow!) @miss_poundcakes Ms. Pearl was the safe haven for many in BlacKorea, including myself-thank you 🙏. @bella.gill @lincoln gill-such talent as yours can’t be taught, thank you for fearlessly diving head first into it with me, I love you to the end ❤️. brucefcole I remember a time in my life when I asked, “a DP matters?” Oh, how far I’ve come....and oh how little I knew.... thank you, Bruce. Thank you for all those days and sleepless nights, folded up like a piece of origami paper getting certain shots, thank you 🙏 🙏. @nigeria912 your performance brought the pain of my past back for a split second, but that just means you did exactly what you needed to do, thank you 🙏 @tylaanneharris your silent presence throughout some parts of the film, was heard LOUD and clear. You brought back the memories of my childhood best friend who always had my back, thank you for that. There are so many more people, but they’d probably kick me off IG.......To be continued....
