OOF!! THAT HAS BEEN A BUSY FEW DAYS… 🇬🇧 🇳🇱 And a joke! Bob had a big birthday last week so I’ve been plotting some secret stuff for the past few months! (And I’ve learned I’m actually a much better liar than I thought I was!! 😂) So first stop was jumping on a ✈️ from Edinburgh to London to stay with lovely pals and go and see one of Bob’s favourite bands Band of Horses (yeah me neither 🤷🏻‍♀️😂) 🇬🇧 Obviously involved shenanigans with large letters and lots of eating and drinking and laughs! A fab tour around (that) London and then… off to Gatwick for part 2! 🇳🇱 which was a trip to Rotterdam an absolutely awesome city! I will post more to my stories. And what made it extra magical was our daughter, son and his fiancé made a surprise appearance! We stayed in a lovely old apartment; explored all areas and loved the combination of old and new architecture; gorgeous walk around the Kralingse park with lunch in the baking heat; water taxi to Delfshaven; amazing art gallery with a fab exhibition by Marisol. Definite recommendation for a great city break. And check out the giant fox 🦊 and my silver fox! 🤍🤍 ✈️ then on to Schipol airport for part 3… coming up next week! And the DUTCH joke! I walked past a pet shop in Rotterdam and saw a lovely cat. I wanted to be sure it was a genuine cat from the Netherlands so I went into the shop and asked the assistant... ‘How Dutch is that moggie in the window?’ 🙀😸😽 Have a fab weekend xx #weeklyrecap #travelphotography #europeantravel #rotterdam
