On our return flight home from the world's largest water technology conference in New Orleans, my colleague and I landed in Vegas for a 3 hour layover. We grabbed dinner then realized we had just enough time to do something...so we opted for a ride in a moving virtual reality roller coaster...which made our equilibirum wish we hadn't. Then he noted that this was his first time in Vegas...
Eureka!
I checked the time, and declared we had just enough time to hop in an uber, head to The Strip, and show him my favorite sights of the wild metropolis in the desert.
1st stop: awe-some fountains dancing perfectly to notes of music.
2nd stop: beautiful art and creativity of the Bellagio's ever-dynamic floral room...right now they've transformed it into a mystical autumn forest.
3rd stop: three stories of hanging 'crystals' at Cosmopolitan
4th stop: hanging colored fluids in stretchy rubber sheets at Aria.
5th and final stop: To cross another one off my buddy's list, we played 7 hands of blackjack and one of us made our $20 back💲
We raced back to the airport, ran through the terminals, and made our plane minutes before the gate closed. Full fun, not a minute to spare👌
