Writing advice: Put the manuscript away for a while. Work on something else. Me: Absolutely. Great idea. I’ll definitely do that. Also me: spends several days drawing tiny whimsical chapter icons because apparently I’m my books number one fan-artist. At this point, I want to pour as much love and care into the little details as I can. The words. The art. The world. The tiny things you might only notice on your second read. I’ve fought awfully hard for these witches to have their space on a bookshelf. I just want it to feel special when it finally reaches you. ✨🧡🌿 Because everyone who is burnout, isolated, and exhausted deserves little moments of laughter and levity to fill their cups. #debutnovel #writingcommunityofinstagram #witchybooks #authorillustrator #bookstagram Keywords: cozy fantasy, fantasy readers, comedic fantasy, witchy drawing, whimsical, illustrated fantasy, book illustration, book reels, motherhood in fiction, postpartum, creative process, author journey. Today marks eight years of being married to my best friend. EIGHT YEARS?!?! Where did this time go?!? Doing life with Yusuke is the best thing that has ever happend to me because we have three BEAUTIFUL kids and I am living a life that is far from boring. He challenges and pushes me in the best way possible and makes me a better person. I will be forever grateful that I have such an incredibly life partner. Last year might have been one of the hardest in our married life but we survived it and I think our bond just grew even stronger. Of course there is not always rainbows and butterflies and we do fight too but that‘s normal and okay. Can‘t wait for the next eight years or even better the next eighty years with you Yusuke. 🥹❤️ I choose this song because this was one of the first Swiss German songs Yusuke learned to sing. 🤭😅💕 #internationalmarriage #swiss #japanese #wedding
