The seven heavens… like a ring in a desert. And that’s only the first comparison.

Compared to the Kursī, the seven heavens are like a ring cast into a vast desert. Then the Kursī itself, compared to the Throne, is like that ring in the desert again.

Pause. Let that sink in.

All of this is creation. What awe, then, should fill our hearts for the Creator?

The One who created such vastness knows the worry you cannot put into words. The immensity of His creation does not mean you are forgotten.

Let this reminder bring you back to duʿā’. Back to humility. Back to saying “Allāhu Akbar” with a heart that pays attention.

O Allāh, fill our hearts with awe of You, strengthen our trust in You, and never leave us to ourselves. Ameen.

Save this for a moment when you need perspective, and share it with someone you love.
