#nigerianlawyermoments @usalicious - Woke up this morning to a memory post on Snapchat of this same day last year, I was in law school.

It was ....externship time at Federal Ministry of Justice,Abuja.
I was in the Attorney Generals chambers .
I remember going to work and seeing most people reading in the conference room where we stayed and making notes , typing on their laptops and all .
In my head At first I was like “Hey God ! Have I even read anything ?” While asking I would draw chairs together and form a bed and sleep off, Knowing that I wasn’t ready to study because I studied at night and early hours of the day .

I decided to join a group of few friends to study at weekends. Getting there realizing most of them had finished reading the coursework more than twice,some even started reading before law school for each course . I mean criminal litigation, civil litigation, property law etc.
Most of them would quote 4 cases and 3 sections of the law for a definition.

I went back home feeling like” oh God what’s going on....
Have I read anything what am I even doing ....” I said an honest prayer to God. I trusted God and encouraged myself. I did a lot of positive self talks . I affirmed good things . I decided that I wasn’t going to be moved by anyone . I would stick to my own pattern of studying and I won’t come back to law school for any reason apart from my call to bar arrangements. ......that’s what God made happen .
TRUST IN GOD ! PRAY ! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! WORK HARD ! DO NOT BE CARRIED AWAY BY OTHERS ! FOCUS !
