Durga Puja is one of Bengal’s biggest festivals, marked by traditions like dhaak, dhunuchi, bhog, anjali and pandal hopping that bring families and communities together. During a conversation with Yes Madam, actress Mouni Roy looked back at her childhood memories of the festival and revealed that she was called “Manya” as a child. Her recollections offer a glimpse into the Bengali traditions she grew up with and the childhood memories that continue to make Durga Puja special. #Ad #MouniRoy #indiainlast24hr

How it started vs How it’s going! This was our first Speak Life Journal that I created, wrote, edited and even designed using Canva and had it printed at Minute Man and sold it online! Of course hubby did the photo shoot then! I didn’t have it figured out, no production/distribution/publisher nothing. The point wasn’t that, the point was I had something I wanted to get out there and I did! How it’s going 🥹 almost 4 years later, that journal is now in stores, on shelves next to me my book🥹 I wish I had the words to explain how this was not a plan or strategy or a result of 10 steps and funding. It genuinely started as a small seed that grew further than I could imagine. Don’t underestimate your seed , and you never know who is watching!!!! Proud moment seeing my journal in stores for the first time 🥹🥹💃💃💃 Let this picture be your personal reminder to work what’s in your hands and let God do the rest No perfect timing , you can’t improve what doesn’t exist! Just do it! Whatever it is!
Most people are born into systems they never question, serving corrupt bloodlines they never chose, defending power that was never theirs. They mistake obedience for loyalty and inherited control for truth. The greatest prison is one you’ve been conditioned to call normal. Real eyes realize real lies 🤫 #fyp #explore #reels
