If They Treated Him Well He Won’t Distance Himself From Them And They Won’t Be Granting Interviews. They Didn’t Love Him –Toluwanisings’ Uncle Slams Singer’s Paternal Family The younger brother of the mother of late gospel singer Toluwanisings has broken his silence amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the singer’s burial, criticising those granting interviews about the matter. In a video shared online, the singer’s maternal uncle expressed concern over the development, insisting that people who genuinely loved the deceased should not be granting interviews about the circumstances surrounding his death and burial. He said, “Hello, everybody. At this point, we can’t keep quiet, especially after the incident that happened. Even though we are still grieving, the way things are going is becoming concerning. “There is no way anyone in their right mind who truly loved the deceased would grant an interview on this matter, let alone one discussing how someone is living in a house and other related issues. “The truth is, if the people granting these interviews had treated Toluwanisings well while he was alive, he would not have distanced himself from them. “I was his mentor. If you heard what he went through during his lifetime, you would stone all those people going around granting interviews.
A generation where music, club culture, art and fashion collided. Britain in the 90s saw a "shift in who got to participate in culture and whose voices were being heard", according to the curator of a new exhibit in London that shows the chaotic energy of the era. "There was a sense that the old hierarchies were breaking down – artists, designers, photographers and musicians were all moving between disciplines, collaborating, challenging conventions and creating new possibilities", Edward Enninful told the BBC. "Over time, some of that outsider energy was absorbed into the mainstream
I don't see the 1990s as a closed chapter, but as a moment whose influence is still unfolding across British culture." Tap the link in @BBCNews's bio to read more about the exhibition and where you can see it. (via BBC Future) #90s #Fashion #BritPop #BBCNews
