Chic is earned.

It’s figuring out how to make something out of nothing, how to spin straw into gold.

It comes from mistakes, rejection, and pulling yourself together enough to leave with a place at the table.

Chic is the story of your life, writ large in how you carry yourself when you walk into the room.

Happy #Wednesdaytonaday gang!

Ever since I can remember I’ve wanted a Rolex Daytona. For me it is chronograph perfection and the chronograph is a complication I’ve always been obsessed with, I even got married wearing one.

And so, to borrow a phrase, ‘I’ve done a thing’. Or at least, I did a thing and have subsequently been dancing around how best to talk about this for a while now…

In fact, I’ve owned this 2018 Rolex Daytona 116500LN since July… 🙈

So here’s a long overdue #nwa post, I’m sorry for the delay, it’s been a busy Summer and securing my absolute dream watch has completely knocked me for six - for a long time I just couldn’t believe it was true!

Hence I’ve been having a fairly low-key time of it on Instagram and just been busy wearing the hell out of this incredible piece privately, for me, not the ‘gram.

But ultimately, how could I not share this momentous occasion with you, the #watchfam?!

There’s more to this story, which I’ll share in due course, but suffice to say it involves A LOT of consolidation and a large dose of Man Maths (TM).

For now, TODAY is my Daytona Day 🖤
