7 months agoI just read this and have all the feels. The scene at the end where they're all making kimchi together 🥹 beautiful work! I'm going to recommend this book to the librarian at our middle school, I think the students would love it.
2 years agoAgnes, this book was beautiful. I recently lost a family member, and this book perfectly captures the essence of the experience—the profound sadness of the loss, but also the bittersweet joy of the support of friends and family gathering to honor a life. ❤️ thank you for making this!

2 years agoI just read this book and I’m sobbing by page 169. The mom sitting on her bed really got me. I don’t know how you conveyed such powerful emotions with so little words. This is a masterpiece.
3 years agoCongratulations Agnes ❤️ cant wait to read this! My mom just passed away so this 49 days is so important to my Chinese culture though my dad decided to celebrate the 100th day instead 😭😭😭
