Today is a profoundly special day to me. Has it really been ten years, really?

January 8th of 2014 was my very first day in the USA, back in Columbus, GA. I was completely scared. It was a day that crushed me completely. Fell asleep crying that night I remember. It was day 0. What a feeling!

January 8th, 2024 - Ten years later, I come back to the USA, now in Los Angeles in such a different stage of my life. I am still scared, but not the same way. Tears come out of my eyes just remembering this same day years ago.

Thank you all for welcoming me with love everywhere I go.

@susantomkiewicz I will be thinking when our oboe lessons used to be pure signs and drawings ❤️ I treasure those memories. Thank you so much for your patience as I was learning to communicate in English.
