WAIT A MINUTE! 😂🤔 Since when did Sweetest Day become SPOIL YOUR MAN DAY? I thought we BOTH supposed to be getting spoiled! 😂❤️ Ladies, are we buying gifts today or expecting them? 👀😂 Traditionally, especially in Chicago and the Midwest, Sweetest Day has been treated as the day women spoil their men, almost like a reverse Valentine's Day. An 18-year-old man from Dearborn was killed Thursday night after a high-speed motorcycle chase involving Wyandotte police ended in a deadly crash. The pursuit, which reportedly reached speeds of up to 100 mph, ended near West Jefferson and Sibley roads in Riverview. A Wyandotte police cruiser ended up on top of the motorcycle and rider following the crash. The 18-year-old was reportedly not breathing at the scene and received CPR while being transported to the hospital. He later died. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, including how the police cruiser ended up on top of the motorcycle. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
In Paris, hundreds of stores were looted, entire streets were wrecked around Les Halles, and the base of the Marianne statue at Place de la République was partly torn apart. Police arrested 855 people in the Paris region. In Limoges, rioters broke into the 143 year old City Hall while people were inside and set it on fire, and the roof and spire collapsed. At least 1,800 people were arrested nationwide, and more than 500 police officers, gendarmes and firefighters were injured. One person died of a heart attack during the Paris march. Fuel is a big part of the anger. Prices have soared since the US and Israel struck Iran in February and shipping through the Strait of Hormuz was cut off. French diesel is up about 45 percent this year. Macron addressed the nation Sunday night and said looters will have to pay for the damage. What do you think it will take to calm things down in France?
