I’ve ridden motorcycles for a long time. Which also means it takes something quite interesting to make me get off one and immediately start thinking about when I can ride it again. I first rode the @ultraviolette_automotive X-47 Crossover at the @ackodrive TOTEM jury meet at @buddh.international.circuit last December. It was my first experience of a performance electric motorcycle, and it stayed with me. So I did what any reasonable person would do. I asked for it again. 😬 This time, I took it to the @letsrydeindia track because I wanted more time with it, and enough space to really ride it. There is something fascinating about recalibrating your senses on a performance EV. The experience is familiar enough to instinctively know what to do, but different enough to make you pay attention all over again. And then there is the other part of this story that makes me particularly happy. Ultraviolette became the first Indian electric motorcycle brand to launch in Europe. To see a motorcycle conceived and built in India take its place on a global stage, alongside names such as BMW and Harley-Davidson, is exciting. Not because we need international validation to know we can build world-class motorcycles. But because it’s rather satisfying when something made here is good enough to go out there and compete. As for the X-47? Turns out my instinct at BIC was right. I did need more time with it. 🏍️⚡

A man’s favorite treatment is peace. You can disagree with somebody and still make them glad they chose you. That’s the kind of love worth coming home to. #runtheplay
