Chicago Calligrapher | Content Creator

My version of “The Artist vs. The Art” inspired by Ian Barnard.

If you are new to my page, welcome. My name is Christy Toney (CT), and I’m a Chicago based calligrapher and lettering artist. I specialize in custom sign work and am entering my 17th wedding & event season. What?

I have a feeling that 2024 is going to be unbelievably busy. The signs are all there and I hope my colleagues are seeing the same thing. Today’s podcast is going to be all about engagement season.

I work so hard during a typical season and honestly just want to get some sleep but I just wanted to wave hello and encourage couples to book early this year because my inbox right now is reminiscent of 2021. If you HAVE reached out I’m replying to everyone today!

Please enjoy the rest of the holiday everyone and ask me anything in the comments.
