Alright, let’s talk about this 🤍

Yes solo travelling is wonderful, not only do you get to see the most beautiful places on this planet, but it opens your mind and makes you grow so much as a person.

BUT this being said, what isn‘t really talked about much is what happens on special days of the year when you‘re all by yourself on the other side of the world.
Sometimes those days are great with strangers around you at some beach, sometimes those days are very dark and the hardest to be away from everyone and everything you know.

During those days it can get quite lonely, you just miss your loved ones and nothing can replace them, not even the most beautiful spot on earth.

I can get a bit overwhelmed sometimes and my way of coping with it, is to take what comes my way, no expectations, no plans. Something comes up naturally, sure let‘s go! 🎄 nothing does or I’m just not in the mood? Well that‘s fine too.

This was my Christmas for example. Just had a nice day by myself, no gifts exchange, no tree, no traditions, nothing. Just me, myself and some red wine on my beautiful balcony🍷

Just be you, your wonderful self, every day of the year 🤍🎄
