Well hello there! I’m so happy you’ve stumbled across my page- whether you’re a parent looking for services or a local provider. I figured it was time to introduce myself a bit more.
My name is Bonnie Soto and I am the pediatric PT of Be Well Bebé. I have been practicing in pediatrics since I graduated from Shenandoah University DPT program in 2012. I took my boards exam early so I could pack up and move to the beautiful southwest as soon as I graduated!
Since that time I have worked in Early Intervention, NICU/PICU/Inpatient, and multiple outpatient settings. I began my deep-dive journey into understanding more about Tethered Oral Tissues about 4.5 years ago after the birth of my first child. I was so excited to breastfeed but hit SO many roadblocks along the way including tongue ties, body tension, torticollis, and so much misleading information. With all that I knew it still felt SO challenging to find the answers and support that me and my baby needed. I want to make sure that the families I support receive the care I was so desperately seeking.
Since that time I have spent MANY hours furthering my knowledge specifically in understanding and treatment techniques for the infant population. Craniosacral fascial therapy, treatment of flat head shapes without a cranial helmet, oral motor assessment + treatment, treatment for the NICU graduate and medically complex infants and so, so much more. While I truly enjoy treating children of all ages, I have found a special passion for supporting infants and their families.
When I’m not working I am 100% spending time with my amazing family and drinking coffee to be able to keep up with them. We have two little girls, two dogs, and a horse that keep my husband and I VERY busy. Life in general feels very busy in this phase of life but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The journey of Motherhood and marriage have been gifts of lessons in love, resiliency, vulnerability, and growth.
