When your dorm-mate from UT Austin comes over to visit and reconnect for a few hours! (Talk about a real flashback Friday)
Guys, almost 30 years ago Nicole and I were randomly paired up to live together at the Littlefield Dorm aka “The Virgin Vault” on the UT Austin campus. This song was a hit that year. #tootsieroll
In fact, I left for UT that summer with only two duffle bags.
With the money I saved up, I flew in to Austin (which I had never even visited) and asked Nicole to pick me up. Cause that wasn’t weird at all.
Over the phone that summer : “Hi I’m Michelle from El Paso, your new roommate. I played basketball , volleyball, was Homecoming Queen.
Can you pick me up from the airport?” 🤣 Which she did 🥺🙏.
We couldn’t be more different, and we lived together for 2 semesters in a shoe box of a room.
And never really caught up until NOW, decades later.
Thank you Nicole for reconnecting. 🫶🏼
God put us together for some reason and I hope I showed you a good time at some of my favorite places! Thanks for picking me up at the airport.
