President Donald Trump says “France is burning” and is urging the country to close its borders after nationwide protests turned violent. The demonstrations began over rising living costs, poor school conditions and concerns about cuts to public services. Students, labor unions and members of the yellow vest movement joined the protests Saturday. While many marched peacefully, others set fires, looted stores and clashed with police. At least 1,800 people were arrested. Trump blamed immigration for the unrest in a Sunday Truth Social post, writing, “Close your Borders and take control, before it is too late!” However, French officials have blamed radical groups and opportunistic looters for the violence. They have not established immigration as the cause. Read more stories like this at OnsiteGlobalMedia.us (link in bio). 🎥: @FoxNews /📸: Truth Social
