Ocko! 🕊
Thank you India for waking up to the truth of Hinduism, Indianness and Nationalism and finally coming out of the delulu created over the last decade. We are all in this together 🔱
On October 16, 1995, hundreds of thousands of people gathered on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., for the historic Million Man March — one of the largest gatherings centered on Black life, unity and empowerment in modern American history. Led by Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and supported by Black leaders and organizations from across the country, the march called on Black men to recommit themselves to their families, their communities and one another while confronting racism, economic inequality and the challenges facing Black America. And despite the name, women were part of the historic day too. Rosa Parks, Maya Angelou, Betty Shabazz, Dorothy Height and Queen Mother Moore were among the prominent Black women who appeared as major speakers, while other women were also present in Washington supporting the gathering. Attendance estimates varied, but there is no question that the images of the National Mall packed with people became one of the defining scenes of Black organizing in the 1990s. More than three decades later, the Million Man March remains a reminder of what can happen when Black communities organize around accountability, family, economic power and collective action. #MillionManMarch #OnThisDay #BlackHistory #BlackUnity #BlackPower
White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles reveals she nearly skipped the mammogram that caught her aggressive breast cancer, telling Fox News Digital her doctor insisted she get the scan during a routine checkup months before it was due. "Had he not encouraged me to do it that day, I would have gone back to work and probably not thought about it again until July," Wiles said. "We would be having a very different conversation in that case." Wiles, 69, shared on X that she is now cancer-free after six months of treatment.
