Nine years ago, in 2017, I remember standing in front of my entire school, delivering a speech as part of the School Pupil Leader elections. One of the things I spoke about was how we should introduce Google Classroom into our school. It was a fairly simple idea. Technology could help us learn better, so why werent we using more of it?

Cut to 2026, almost exactly nine years later, and I found myself standing in front of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, talking about how we could make Indias students more AI-native.

I was shortlisted for an interaction with the Prime Minister and given 90 seconds to present two ideas for India. Ninety seconds isnt a lot of time, especially when you have a million things youd love to say, but it was an absolutely wonderful experience!

Its funny how some things come full circle. The technology has changed enormously, the scale of the problems were trying to solve has changed, and Ive certainly grown a little older (and hopefully wiser!), but somewhere, the curiosity that made a schoolboy stand up and talk about Google Classroom hasnt changed very much.

I think we spend so much of our lives thinking about whats next that we rarely stop to appreciate how far weve come. Every once in a while, life gives you a moment to look back at everything youve done, the people youve met, the things youve built, and the experiences that have shaped you.

This was certainly one of those moments for me.Theres still so much I want to do, build, learn, and contribute. But for now, Im just incredibly grateful for the opportunity, the experience, and everyone whos been part of the journey so far.

And on that note, Ive realised I have quite a few stories worth sharing. So you might just see me posting a little more frequently here!

S-a îndeplinit visul nostru , iubirea mea!

8 years of being married to my bestest friend in the whole wide world. 🥰

Jacob and I met in high school via mutual friends, were good friends for a while, and started dating the July after graduation. We’re very different people than we were at 18–we’ve quite literally grown up together!—but I’m so thankful that we happened to grow and mature into someone the other person still both liked and loved (which we now recognize is the main reason “high school sweethearts” are pretty rare). We helped each other grow into much better versions of ourselves and couldn’t be more grateful for that. 🧡

Since then we’ve had different jobs, lived in a loft in downtown Kansas City, lived the nomad life for 3 months in an RV, tried & failed at being travel couple influencers (😂), bought our first home, completed our goal of visiting all 50 states before turning 30 (which we started separately and just happened to finish with the same state!), celebrated 13 years of dating, adopted a kitten, and spent many a day doing absolutely nothing together. 🤭

Happy 8 years, my love. Here’s to as many more as this cherished life will give us. 🫶🏻
