5 things that built our relationship & keep it righteous:

1. God is always the foundation
2. the 12 Patriarchs kept us from sinning with each other. we read it every single night for months, even during the long distance phase
3. we’ve held each other accountable for our words and actions since day 1 as friends
4. we never go to sleep upset with one another
5. he leads me, teaches me, and supports me. I comfort him, sustain him, and incubate his ideas
