Maybe democracy was never designed for a country like India?

What if a stronger, more centralized system of governance could solve India's biggest problems? From political corruption and bureaucratic delays to slow decision-making, weak accountability, and failed long-term planning — is it time to rethink how India is governed?

China, Singapore and South Korea offer different lessons on how strong state capacity and long-term planning can accelerate national development. But concentrated power without accountability can be just as dangerous.
