A mature relationship isn’t about finding someone who never makes mistakes; it’s about finding someone who is willing to understand, listen, and grow with you. ❤️ It’s in the little things: putting the phone down when your partner needs attention, stepping up when they’re exhausted, offering comfort without expecting anything in return, and taking responsibility when you’ve hurt them. Love isn’t about winning every argument or proving who’s right; it’s about choosing understanding over ego and making your partner feel heard, valued, and safe. A mature partner doesn’t just apologise to end a conversation; they make an effort to change their behaviour long after the conversation is over. Because real love isn’t measured by how beautifully someone says “I love you,” but by how consistently they show it through their actions. 🫶

ad Christmas arrived early at the @meliawhitehouse for Alice and I last weekend.. Cocktail making, our first turkey supper and all at the most perfect place to stay near Regents Park. This art deco hotel has spacious and modern rooms with beautiful art, expertly crafted seasonal cocktails at ‘35 Bar, and gastronomy delights at Arado Restaurant. Definitely one to save for your festive celebrations, cocktails or a sneaky staycation…

Here’s a few rules I try and follow for all of my back workouts 👇

1️⃣ Use a balanced ratio of Horizontal Pulling Movements (Rows) + Vertical Pulling Movements (Pulldowns)

2️⃣ Perform some exercises with a Neutral (Hammer) Grip + others with a Pronated (Overhand) Grip

3️⃣ Incorporate both Unilateral (Single-Arm) Movements + Bilateral (Dual-Arm) Movements

4️⃣ Focus on FEELING the muscle / area you’re trying to target instead of just moving the weight (hint: use higher reps, pyramids, and single arm movements for this)

5️⃣ PLAN + TRACK your workouts each week to ensure they progressively build on each other (hint: use an app that does both like @liftit.app)

To give you an example of a singular workout that puts all this together .. see below 💪

1. Dumbbell Single Arm Row 12,10,8,6
2. Barbell Bent Over Row 4x6
3. Single Arm Pulldown 15,12,10,8
4. Wide Grip Lat Pulldown 4x8
5A. Cable Single Arm Straight Arm Pulldown 4x15
5B. Kneeling Cable Single Arm Vertical Traction 4xMAX

SAVE this workout and try it for yourself 🔥
