Bora Bora or the Maldives? 🌴 One of the questions we get asked most often! We’ve put together a little guide to help you choose the destination that best suits your travel style. And here’s something worth considering: their drier seasons fall at different times of the year, so your travel dates might actually help you decide. Two extraordinary destinations. Two very different experiences. Save this for when you’re planning your next tropical escape. Which one is on your bucket list?
Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro had a red carpet first! 🩷 The couple posed together on a carpet for the first time since they started dating, joining their 'Artificial' castmates — Ike Barinholtz, Yura Borisov and Mark Rylance — and director Luca Guadagnino at the BFI London Film Festival for a screening of the film. (📸/🎥: Getty Images)
Nigerian gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has sadly passed away at the age of 41. According to reports, the singer suddenly slumped in the early hours of Wednesday. His personal assistant said they desperately tried to save him, taking him to about seven or eight hospitals, but unfortunately, he did not survive. This part of the story is extremely heartbreaking. When someone is taken from hospital to hospital during an emergency and still cannot get the urgent treatment needed, serious questions have to be asked about Nigeria’s healthcare system. It is difficult not to wonder whether his death could have been avoided if he had been in a country with a stronger emergency medical system and faster access to treatment. We cannot say for certain that he would have survived, especially because the family has not confirmed the exact medical cause of his death, but the reported struggle to find immediate medical help is deeply troubling. @Toluwanisings was a respected gospel singer, songwriter and minister known for his energetic Yoruba praise and worship music. He is survived by his wife and children. May his soul rest in peace, and may God comfort his family during this difficult time. 📺: @drolubamiji

While previous generations may have had a series of relationships — from the serious to the casual — Gen-Z women only want to commit if a guy checks every box on their future-husband wish list. This is the age of dating apps, with so many potentials at our fingertips. Why bother with a hard launch? But this approach, Sadie Kargman argues, means that many Gen-Zers are missing out on a crucial step in their dating lives: learning how to *actually* be in a relationship. Her solution? We need to embrace the Entry-Level Boyfriend. “They are never going to become your husband,” Kargman writes. “But hopefully, they can teach you how to recognize him.” At the link in bio, @sadiekargman explores her generation’s reluctance to label their relationships — then makes the case for committing to someone regardless of what the outcome may be.
