Two women have filed a federal civil lawsuit accusing former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz and two others of participating in an alleged sex trafficking scheme involving young women, drugs and traveling across state lines. The allegations are the latest chapter in Gaetz’s high-profile sex scandal that ultimately derailed his nomination by President Trump as U.S. Attorney General and also led him to resign from Congress in 2024. His departure came as a bi-partisian House Ethics Committee was in the final stages of an investigation into his alleged misconduct. “I look forward to taking the plaintiffs’ depositions because much of the conduct alleged against me is false,” Gaetz said in a statement. “The lawsuit relies almost exclusively on a Congressional Committee report that didn’t allow me to confront my accusers. Now I will finally have that chance.” The 33-page complaint, filed Monday in the Middle District of Florida, details how the former Congressman used two of his friends, now-convicted ex-Seminole County tax collector Joel Greenberg, and former Florida GOP House member Christopher Dorworth, to coordinate the recruitment of young women whom they supplied with drugs in order to facilitate sexual encounters, according to the lawsuit. 🔗 You can read the full story at the link in our bio ✍️: Julie K. When the motivational speech doesn’t go quite as planned. 💀 SUNNY DANCER is now available to watch from home. ☀️
Lahore is entering smog season, and air pollution is already becoming a serious concern. So one thing in this Lahore Police footage deserves a simple question: Why was burning chosen as the disposal method? According to Lahore Police Operations Wing, the seized material included more than 100,000 kites, along with thousands of reels and rolls of kite string. The footage shows quantities of seized kites and string being burned in the open. My question is not about the seizure or enforcement action. It is about what happened afterwards. Punjab’s anti-smog framework restricts open waste burning as part of efforts to control air pollution and smog. So: Why was burning selected? Was this the prescribed and environmentally approved disposal method? Were less-polluting alternatives available? To be clear, I am not alleging that any law was violated, nor am I claiming that this fire caused Lahore’s current air pollution. I am asking what disposal protocol applied here and whether it was followed. When Lahore is already fighting smog and poor air quality, surely that is a fair question to ask. 📹 Source: Lahore Police Operations Wing 📑 Environmental reference: Punjab Environment Protection Department #Lahore #LahoreSmog #LahoreAirPollution #AirPollution #ShahofLahore
It’s been 14 months since my wonderful friend & hair stylist @m0rganrhodes first cut my disastrous chemo hair into the shortest of pixie crops. Here we are now with what looks like a mop on my head, ready to cut my hair into something that may stay for a while and isn’t an ‘interim’ cut. What a road it’s been; slowly getting back to feeling confident in my skin again. Thanks so much Morgan for your time & care on this road. You are an artist in your field. You’ve given me so much strength at times when I felt very broken and small :) Feeling very lucky & blessed, H xxx ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #chemotherapy #breastcancer #hairregrowth
