Some of the most devastating things I’ve seen from the Norte Fire. 😔🙏🏻 - To those who lost their homes I am so sorry. To everyone who had to deal with this major emergency I am so sorry.
Any situation dealing with wildfires brings me back to the 1993 fires in Laguna Beach. 😔🙏🏻

We all must keep working to help mitigate wildfires and the impacts Santa Ana winds have on our communities. THANK YOU to the first responders and all of the law enforcement that helped save lives and other properties from burning. You’re tireless efforts are always incredible. 🙏🏻🫡🚒🚔

Please let me know if there are any official GoFundMe or fundraising campaigns for those impacted by this fire, I would love to help share on my accounts.

‘Forget function, erase constraints, and claim your identity’ was the direction Ray-Ban gave 29 multidisciplinary artists ahead of Art Basel Paris 2026.

Debuting at this year’s show, ‘Impossible Frames’ challenges a new generation of visionaries to reject the logic of materials and structure, moving beyond what seems feasible to explore new possibilities for creative expression. The exhibition creates a space where imagination is limitless and new worlds can take shape.

Experience ‘Impossible Frames’ Friday, October 23–Sunday, October 25 at the Grand Palais, and discover how @RayBan is empowering creators to shape new realities and drive culture forward.

From my home office. Everything is rather vintage - the skirt, the silk knitted top, the stockings and the heels.
Many people ask me if I wear stockings every day.
The answer is not and I think no woman does. Unless you can stay in bed all day. I do not live a life like that. Would be fun though 🙂.
Stockings cost a fortune and they are so fragile! Sometimes it’s also way too hot or way too cold for them and sometimes they are just not appropriate to wear.
But I do wear them often and often switch my footwear, to protect them, when I am in between events or commute. I sometimes put leggings over them to get from place A to place B. It’s just the practicality of it.
But this is what I often wear in my home office, even when I see clients.
Just not today! I am still on bedrest, no work, no clients , no stockings or high heels this week.
But I can’t wait to start again next week! With some needed adjustments, so I don’t jeopardise my healing. My head is already filled with ideas.

In Iran, something as simple as taking a ballet class can put your life at risk. After the 1979 Iranian Revolution, ballet was banned and the Iranian National Ballet Company was dissolved.

Known as the “Persian Swan,” Tara Ghassemieh became the first Iranian-American principal dancer at Golden State Ballet. Through Dancers of Iran, an organization connecting dancers inside and outside the country, she has secretly taught ballet to students inside Iran using virtual classes and underground networks, reaching young people who put their safety on the line simply to dance.

For women and girls in Iran, the restrictions on dance are part of a much larger fight for freedom. Women face strict dress codes, discrimination in education and employment, and restrictions on their ability to travel and make decisions about their own lives. In 2022, following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in morality police custody, the Woman, Life, Freedom movement sparked nationwide protests. Iranian authorities responded with a violent crackdown that left hundreds dead and thousands arrested.

Ghassemieh has used her art to bring attention to their fight. She created The White Feather, a ballet telling the story of Iran’s disbanded National Ballet Company, and has used her platform to amplify the voices of Iranian women. In an interview with DanceOn, Ghassemieh opened up about supporting the movement and the risks that have come with speaking out. Her Instagram account was recently hacked and held for ransom, and she believes her advocacy made her a target. For Ghassemieh and her students, dance is a form of self-expression, freedom, joy and resistance.

😱 He Cut Off the Wrong Finger After a Snake Bite! 🐍

Imagine being bitten by a snake and, in a panic, cutting off your own finger to stop the venom! 😨 That’s what reportedly happened to one man. But the shocking twist? Doctors later told him the snake wasn’t venomous—and he had even cut off the wrong finger!

🚨 The important lesson: Never try to cut off a body part or suck out venom after a snakebite. These actions can cause severe injuries without stopping the venom.

✅ Stay as calm as possible. ✅ Move away from the snake and keep the bitten limb still. ✅ Seek emergency medical care immediately. ❌ Never cut the wound, apply ice, or use a tourniquet.

🐍 A snakebite can be frightening, but panic can make the situation even more dangerous. Share this to help spread awareness!
