If both sides are pretending to be the victim, this issue will never be resolved. Yes we we need more minority doctors but we also need tough and strict metrics to continue our tradition of Meritocracy in medicine. Two things can be true at the same time. We need to stop yelling past each other and actually have a logical discussion of the pros and cons of DEI.

DEI serves as representative of the dismantling of that “good ol boys” way of doing things and they don’t want that disturbed. Long story short, “The truth doesn’t mind being questioned, but a lie doesn’t like to be challenged”. What a trifling piece of isht!!! Kudos to the doctor for speaking up.

It's really disturbing how white folks can just smile and look at you all pleasantly just to constantly question your authority, knowledge, ability/skill constantly behind your back because you're a person of color?
