EXCLUSIVE: Yes, that was David Letterman and Matt Damon in the season-four premiere of 'The Gilded Age.' Eight minutes and 33 seconds into the episode, they play two gentlemen who silently cross the street. “It was a kind of hysterical moment when our production supervisor Leah Baker came up to me on set and was like, ‘Well, I have a kind of funny, interesting question: Would you like Dave Letterman and Matt Damon to be background on our set one day?’” @gildedagehbo executive producer Kate Churchill remembers. “I just started laughing.” But the simple idea ended up being "actually quite complicated" to execute. At the link in our bio, @azalben finds out how and why this cameo happened — and which one of the men is wearing his own hat 🎩 Photo: HBO
From London to Steph’s court🏀 ‘Inspired by 30, I picked up a basketball for the first time a year ago, and the journey led somehow led me all the way to the Chase Center… ‘Warming up the nets, and then watching the chef cook was a night I’ll never forget. Go Dubs’ - @bench2baller
Just noticed 80,000 in this club. The equivalent of a sold-out stadium, all  here around a shared obsession with spaces, ideas and the details. Behind the scenes, it’s a daily mix of creative highs, imposter syndrome, intense opinions, unexpected conversations and an enormous amount of love. A small team, very deep in the details, with a much bigger world looking in. 65 days left in the year and I’m sure we’ll share some more poignant thoughts on what has made this year so beautifully chaotic. We’re still working on finishing my house, our office which I know so many of you drive by and wonder what the fuck is happening, two homes on the market and many more underway. A lot of incredible partnerships coming up, lighting, textiles and a full furniture collection - a lot of in thanks to our community ❤️ enjoy the random BTS shots!
