There are influencers, there are founders & then there’s @matildadjerf. Few people have shaped the way an entire generation gets dressed quite like the Swedish entrepreneur behind Djerf Avenue. The signature bouncy blowout, the oversized blazers, the strawberry prints, the kind of effortless personal style that launched a thousand Pinterest boards. Somewhere along the way, Matilda Djerf became more than a person to follow. She became an aesthetic, then a movement, then a brand. Now, that world has a New York address. On October 3, Djerf Avenue opened the doors to its first permanent store at 25 Bond Street, turning something that began with a girl in Sweden sharing her life online into a place people can actually walk into. And for Matilda, who started the company at just 22, it’s about more than clothes on racks. It’s about giving the community that’s been part of her journey a place to call its own. Of course, we had questions. We caught up with Matilda to talk about bringing a little piece of Sweden to Manhattan, what her 22-year-old self would think of it all, the pressure to constantly reinvent your personal style & her idea of a perfect, completely unscheduled day in New York. Spoiler: It involves a very specific coffee order, a ham & cheese croissant & being home early. Read the article on fluentmag.com.
vidim, Burek se baš oseća poniženo 🙆🏻‍♀️ #andjeladjuricic #elita10
At 25 I thought a good life had to be loud. Full weekends, a full calendar, everyone around all the time. At 36 it looks like this. Slow mornings with my coffee, a kitchen that smells like dinner, long walks through the city with nowhere to be, Lucas waiting at the door, and evenings so soft I never want them to end. I used to think this list was what you settle for. It turned out to be everything I ever wanted. 🤍 #livingalone #slowliving
