Today, heaven gained the most beautiful angel. My grandma, who I know as Gigi but others know as Janice or Jannie, passed away at her house in Vaughn. We got to be by her side while she took her last breath and she used up all her earthly energy to tell us that she loved us on Thursday. To know she is not in pain anymore, gets to see Tara again, and is watching over me at all times is comforting but my heart breaks at the loss of my best friend. Until we see each other again, I’ll say what I have been saying every Sunday before leaving her house “I love you and I will miss you tons.”
