Oke Joy

I slipped.
And while I sat in my tears and drowned myself in guilt, Jesus whispered to me, "This is why I died Joy"
He didn't die for the fixed, put-together version of me.
He died for the messed-up parts of me, the parts of me I want buried from the sight of everyone including me.
That's what Jesus died for and I'm choosing to bask in the blessing of his death and resurrection instead of wallowing in guilt.
