If I sincerely answered any "How are you?" question I got in June 2022, my response would have been "I'm tired." And I'm sure, I'm not the only one.
But I wouldn't have had it any other way if Abba wasn't in it with me.
Sharing this with you and sending you love and light.❤💥

I slipped.
And while I sat in my tears and drowned myself in guilt, Jesus whispered to me, "This is why I died Joy"
He didn't die for the fixed, put-together version of me.
He died for the messed-up parts of me, the parts of me I want buried from the sight of everyone including me.
That's what Jesus died for and I'm choosing to bask in the blessing of his death and resurrection instead of wallowing in guilt.
Happy Easter.♥️
May Jesus' sacrifice on the cross become real to you even in this season.

for President 2027😂😌

I felt a sense of nostalgia as I tapped the plus button at the bottom of my screen.
I don't even know if I'm back but I just thought to show up and say a Happy New Year.😂
And also the guilt of everything I'm supposed to be doing on this app is eating me alive😂😭
2023 was rough for me but if not for the Lord! And I can only trust God to make 2024 softer.
So this is my Happy New Year message to you.
If you're seeing this, congratulations on coming this far!
May you ride on the wings of the Spirit this year.✨

Thank you my baby @ogun.martha for these beautiful pictures.🥺👉👈

See who left me in the teenagers world a year ago and still bouncing in goodness 🤭😂.
Thank you for pulling me to the IG world and holding my frail arms close to yours. There are days when I just want to knock out, but baby girl remembers your soothing words in her head and keeps moving. I can't describe you so well that I won't say more and more. 🥺
Now and forever, baby girl is grateful for the gift of you.
Welcome to a new year filled with unexpected possibilities!
Continue to bask in Abba's love ✨🤎

I'm safe, content and happy here, in my Father's Arms.
When I run into them, every other thing fades away.

June 2023.
The caption is the audio.♥️
One day I'll find the strength, courage and time to share my story. My achievement for the first half of the year is that I survived it.
I'm a survivor with proud scars.✨

My Junior Surgery Posting was very uneventful and it was so heartbreaking because I really looked forward to it.😭
I'd miss Surgery anyway
I'd miss the tension during Mortality and Morbidity reviews.
I'd miss the silence that usually followed, "Who clerked this patient?"😂
I'd miss the free days.
We had so much of these days, I wondered if it was illegal.😂
I look forward to my Intermediate Surgery Posting.
For what I learnt during this posting?
"Nigerians should really stop going to substandard private hospitals."
If you can't afford a very good private health facility, please go to a general hospital.😭 Pleaseeee.
Most of the problems our patients presented with were things that could have been avoided if they received a good quality care.
Bye Bye Surgery, you'll definitely be missed.😌♥️♥️♥️

God sees my struggles
God sees my pain
God sees my tears
And every other thing I can't share with anyone.
And somehow, it makes everything I'm going through and will go through easy to bear.
Because God is with me.
No matter how hard it gets, never forget this; God is with you.

If you liked my last post, thank you so much o.
Comment your favourite drink so I can ship it to you wherever in the world you are.😌
