20 years ago today, my Vanquish SDP, the first of just 94 ever built, was road registered by AML as their press car and featured in many magazine road tests inc Autocar, Evo, Car and even the French publication Auto Hebdo. It was retained at Newport Pagnell as the development prototype of the forthcoming S model and has several unique features. In my 13 year ownership, it’s won many awards, including “Historically Important Car Of The Day” by its genius designer Ian Callum
