It’s April! Which means #TheBigDoorPrize Season Two is hitting @appletv THIS MONTH. In honor, here’s a clip from season 1 episode 3.

Fun fact about the Peoria line. The night before filming, I found out that one of our cast members couldn’t make it to set. Looking at the Peoria line, I thought hmm… of all the people in this scene, it feels like Rita would be the next most appropriate character to say it.

Turns out, that’s almost exactly what happened. After doing the scene several times, director @mollymarymcglynn asks me to do the line. Why I didn’t have the sides hidden in my desk, I’ll never know. But by the next take, I’m saying a quick mouthful of new dialogue and it felt right to have Rita calling Dusty out on his BS yet again.

It was a great reminder to think ahead, maintain a practice of jargon/redirects/cold reads, and bring your damn script to set just in case.

A huge thank you to all the incredible humans who made this day possible!!
