5 miles that were 🫤. The wind was insane and it’s cold and I thought it was a good idea to eat nachos before my run so I was 🤢the whole time but I finished with a smile and now I rest!

Imagine, the hospitals were on strike. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Just imagine that for a second. Somebody needs urgent medical attention, and the hospitals are on strike. This is the country we are living in.

This is why I keep telling you guys, please take your Japa plans seriously. Nigeria is not designed for human beings at this point.

The hospitals are on strike because the politicians simply do not care. Why would they care when they don’t use the hospitals themselves? When anything happens to them, they jump on a plane and travel abroad for treatment. Their own hospitals are in Europe.

Late Buhari’s hospital was in London, he even passed away in a London hospital. The present President, Tinubu’s hospital is in France, while ordinary Nigerians are left here to manage whatever is available in Nigeria. Hospitals wey dey strike.

They know our hospitals are not up to their standard, yet they have refused to build hospitals that meet that same standard. Does that even make sense?

How can the people leading a country be too good to use the hospitals in that same country? How can you be comfortable flying abroad for treatment while the people you are leading are dying because the healthcare system has been abandoned?

How many Nigerians have to kpai before we say enough is enough? It might you tomorrow, I hope you know that. May Nigeria not happen to you. Please, take your Japa plans seriously. If you get the opportunity to leave, leave. You can always come back to visit Nigeria, enjoy yourself and go back. But relocating back permanently? I personally would not advise it until we have leaders who actually have human sympathy and genuinely care whether ordinary Nigerians live or die.

This thing is painful. People are dying from situations that could have been avoided. 💔
