Since I haven't posted for Trans Day of Visibility, here's a 2 in 1 post for my very own FOURTH T-VERSARY 👑🎉
It goes without saying that it was definitely NOT a smooth, obstacle free and easy peasy ride. In the last 4 years, I've been fighting alongside my trans siblings to get our rights to exist as human being, medically transition and just feel safe participating in our society. I want to point out how vital it was for me to see trans/non-binary representation I can relate too. Also, seeing older trans folks showing to the younger generation that we can actually grow older and happier over time.
Acknowledging how representation helped me out brings me where I feel like giving back to the community by putting myself out there too. For those who know, I've been a victim of hate crime for showing up my not so conventional trans body in the streets of Montreal. Yet, guess who's back at it again with that shirtless-thristrap picture? Your favorite trans boy, breaking the binary 1 tank top at a time🥇
In any case, happy birthday to me, to all of the great things that I've accomplished and to the best that's yet to come 💙
