It’s Dissapointing‼️
🇮🇹 These are words and expressions you’ll often hear in everyday conversations across Calabria! Of course, the way we speak can change a little from one area to another, but the meaning is often the same. ❤️ 👇 Which ones do you know or use? And which ones do you hear most often? Share your local expressions in the comments!
A public service announcement about me going forward. Since I turned fifty I’ve had quite the change in mindset. This isn’t about people who comment on how others look on social media by the way, don’t give it a second thought. Don’t fill the comments on this post with discussions on what is appropriate or not, because it’s not about them. It’s about empowering myself to love my life. The beauty I travel the world with is untarnished by anyone else’s view of me. No one tells me how to look, or dress or be. So, however I look is who I am. Stronger, fitter and more confident than ever. You don’t need to tell me how I look, because I look magnificent.
Autism & Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) My son is non-verbal autistic, and his spoken communication is very limited. He's also a Gestalt Language Processor, which means he learns and communicates using chunks of language he's heard before, often from TV shows, songs or videos. Today, he heard a TikTok I was watching and his response completely caught me off guard. 😂 Moments like these remind me he's always listening, even when you don't realise it. 🤣🤣 #autism #autismparents #autismawareness #gestalt #autismacceptance
