Это было очень сильно, это сносило … ⚡️ Я тебя любила, даже когда я тебя бесила …

6 years ago today, I was fired from my TV news job. Whoops! Don’t violate your contract if you want to keep your job! That’s the quick lesson. I took a cameo role in a movie and couldn’t do that, I was out. Since then I’ve built my own content creation business and have worked with some incredible brands! I am so grateful. If you get fired. You have a choice. Take another job or bet on yourself. I decided to try my own thing. To pay the bills I worked part time giving spray tans and started creating. I started editing so many videos, still am. Less than three years later I was able to create content full time. THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE! My point: If you bust your ass, you can accomplish anything you want. It is 100% up to you. It wasn’t easy at all. It was late nights, early mornings, living off savings and tips, and constantly experimenting. But nobody builds a dream alone, THANK YOU to everyone who has helped me along the way: + To my community here: You are the reason my “little travel show” exists. Thank you for watching, sharing, coming along, and letting me show you the beauty of New England (and beyond). I hope you’re having fun! + To my family & friends: Thank you to everyone who held the camera for me. Thank you to those that survived *chaotic* and sometimes long days to get content. Also shout out to those who trusted me enough to say “yes” to trips before we even had an itinerary and then went on the trip and it wasn’t great but said yes to going on a different one later. HA! For real, thank you so much. + To the brand partners & businesses: Thank you for trusting me to tell your stories in my way. I am still so shocked that I’ve worked with so many cool companies! Air Canada, Visit NH, YETI, The Trustees, Long Trail Brewing, Tourisme Quebec, Discover Newport, Tourisme Cantons-de-l’Est, Chester County’s Brandywine Valley, Conservation Law Foundation and SO MANY MORE. Love you dearly. Getting to build something that’s yours is worth it. If you’re sitting on a dream, take the leap... if you’ve just been fired, the vibes on the other side are better if you go for it.

Toys used to feel like miniature worlds packed with tiny details. From detailed army figures and model trains to action figures, collectible toys and even water blasters, older versions often came with more accessories, moving parts and personality. Over time, many designs have become simpler, smaller and easier to manufacture. It’s a reminder of why so many childhood toys still feel special years later — sometimes the little details made all the difference.
