This started with me randomly scrolling Instagram when I landed on a @time_2_watch_ post showing this @yuenwatchesofficial in blue. It immediately caught my attention, so naturally, I looked it up to see if it came in green.

Little did I know… it did. 😅

So this happened. And here’s why.

I’ve always wanted to customise a mother-of-pearl dial in green, but most options came with a rather hefty price tag. This one felt just perfect: a mosaic dial, hand-assembled from natural shell. Because of that organic process, every watch has its own unique pattern and lustre.

And at an accessible price point? It was a no-brainer.

I’m usually not a classical-watch guy. Give me sporty lugs over cornes de vache any day. But I have to admit, this one made me appreciate the look. Somehow, it just works.

I blame you, habibi. 😂
I might have encouraged you to start your watch account, but you definitely convinced me to buy this watch. Not that it was a difficult task to do.
But I’m not mad. Not even a little.

I love it.

39mm is my sweet spot, and at just 9.9mm thick, it wears beautifully. The proportions are spot on, the green MOP gives it that little bit of personality, and the whole thing feels like exactly the kind of watch I enjoy wearing.

No hype. No overthinking.
I saw it, I liked it, and I went for it.

Igor Shesterkin’s season-ending lower-body injury looked eerily similar to the play that resulted in Mike Richter tearing his ACL in 2001.

Hoping for the best for Igor 🙏

We spend so much of our lives moving from one thing to the next.

Sometimes, all it takes is a patch of green, a basket of good things and a little time to yourself to remember there’s another way to spend a day.

Come Over to The Greener Side.
