What a pleasure it was to celebrate such a significant milestone at EbonyLife Place London today. A huge congratulations to Aunty Mo @moabudu and the entire @ebonylifeplacelondon team for bringing this remarkable vision to life. More than just a venue, EbonyLife Place London represents an exciting opportunity to showcase the richness of African creativity, arts and entertainment, while celebrating our culture on a global stage. As the Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan, so aptly described it, this truly is “Lagos in London.” 🇳🇬🇬🇧 It was wonderful to celebrate this occasion alongside so many inspiring individuals. Here’s to a new chapter for Nigerian creativity and the continued global recognition of African excellence! @bensontoke @drp.educationalpsychologist @ladyannewelsh @florence.eshalomi 📍 EbonyLife Place London 208 Wandsworth Road, London SW8 2JU #ebonylifeplacelondon #lagosinlondon #nigeriancreatives #africanexcellence

Are you someone who eats one thing—or even drinks something—and your stomach balloons?🤰🎈That was me for most of my life, and I’m sooo glad it’s a thing of the past. So, what’s one to do? If it’s constant, the best thing you can do is find out what’s driving it- your gut is telling you something is off and there might a host of things related and that will also improve once addressed! A lot of the time foods are blamed but there could be an underlying issue and although diet can be a helpful way to help control it- it gets a whole lot easier if root issues are dealt with and after you strengthen your system- you’ll be unstoppable!! ;) health is like a puzzle and every piece has a place, and once in the right place the whole picture comes together so beautifully! What could be underlying issues-hormonal imbalances, SIBO, changes after an infection, parasites, an inflammatory condition like celiac disease, Candida overgrowth, food combinations or intolerances, constipation or slow motility or even high cortisol levels. Finding out what’s going on and getting some tests done could be a huge help and save a lot of guesswork (what I wish I did first!). Finding a practitioner who will take a full history and choose testing based on your symptoms could be worth it. A full gut analysis and bloodwork would be my suggestion because they cover quite a bit! Then treat what the results show and see whether your symptoms change. For me, I went from chronic stomach issues running my life to having them completely managed! After years of paying more attention to my gut health, it’s so rare that I experience any issues. It is possible!! The best advice I ever got was to take the time to become an expert on yourself. There are so many years left to be lived!! If you have any questions let me know Im happy to help as much as I can! And if you have issues or have success stories and suggestions please do share! #guthealth
